The thin-wall heat shrink tubing ratio 2:1 is one of the most versatile heat shrink ducts on the market. Designed in thin-walled crosslinked polyolefin, it combines flexibility, thermal hold and good electrical resistance. It is a standard in cabling workshops, test benches, box integrators or classic industrial applications.

With a shrink ratio 2:1, it easily adapts to different diameters of conductors or internal tubings. It begins to retract from 90 °C and reaches optimum tightening from 120–125 °C. It ensures good mechanical hold, clean finish and excellent insulation up to 125 °C continuously. Its UL 224 classification guarantees self-extinguishing in case of overheating, reducing the risk of fire spreading.

This is the typical tubing found on cable junctions, insulated welds, braid bits or marking areas. It can be marked hot or printed. It complies with RoHS and REACH requirements, and exists in a wide range of diameters and colours.

Many colours are available, including unusual colours such as orange and purple. On the other hand, the transparent is not available in this range. It is also the only thin-walled tubing that offers the widest range of diameters, from diameter 0.6 mm to diameter 152.4 mm.

It is used in both industrial electronics, automated control systems and electrical cabinet wiring. In logistics or maintenance, it also makes it possible to properly restore defective insulation or visually organize beams.
