The thin-wall heat shrink tubing halogen-free is designed for electrical and electronic applications where fire safety and toxic smoke control are a priority. Made of halogen-free crosslinked polyolefin, it meets the requirements of public, railway, hospital or data centres, where the release of corrosive gases should be avoided. It does not contain chlorine, fluorine, bromine or iodine. These chemical elements, if present, emit highly toxic fumes in the event of fire.

With a shrink ratio of 2:1, it embraces the shapes of cables, connectors and components by ensuring uniform protection. Its operating temperature is up to 125 °C, allowing reliable integration into electrical circuits subjected to point thermal elevations. Its halogen-free structure significantly reduces emissions of acid fumes in the event of fire, in accordance with IEC 61249.

It is also classified as self-extinguishing, UL 224-certified and has high dielectric rigidity, ensuring a long-lasting electric insulation. In terms of land use, this tubing is used in low voltage housings, secure tertiary facilities, elevators, medical equipment or areas with high wiring density.

Its flexibility facilitates implementation, even in restricted areas. It is only available in black.
