Made of semi-rigid classic shiny PVC, this heat shrinkable tubing adopt a Restricted Report of 1.2:1. It therefore slightly reduces its diameter under the effect of heat (thermal gun) to fit firmly the cables or beams that it surrounds. Utilizable from –35 °C to +100 °C, it is suitable for indoor installations and current industrial environments. The tube thus provides basic electrical insulation and protection against shock and abrasion – PVC being known for its rigidity and mechanical resistance.

The black tubing is particularly suitable for aesthetic dressing and professional finishing. Its dark and uniform color masks the colored threads, offering a neat and discreet appearance to the visible electrical installations. It "ensures effective insulation, resists abrasions and chemicals, and improves the aesthetics of the installations. In practice, for example, it is used to assemble and camouflage cables in a box, a distribution board or behind a control station to make wiring cleaner and more elegant.

This sleeve is not printable: it is intended for protection and aesthetics with its pure color, without added label. Cut it to the desired length and slide it onto the cable before heating it. After retraction, its increased thickness strengthens the mechanical hold of the beam and seals the junctions. Its resistant polymer prolongs the durability of the installation by protecting the cable against moisture and minor stresses. According to good assembly practices, it is compatible with UL 224 (VW-1), ensuring safety and longevity.
