This heat shrinkable tubing Polytetrafluoroethylene based (PTFE) offers exceptional thermal resistance up to 260 °C continuously. Sound shrink ratio of 1.5 : 1, lower than conventional industrial standards, allows precise adjustment on components of constant diameter, without excess material after retraction. The coefficient of friction is exceptionally low.

PTFE is an inert, non-hydrophilic material that is highly resistant to aggressive chemicals, solvents, fuels, acids, bases and oxidizing agents. It does not deform under the influence of heat, does not char, and retains its electrical properties even in the most severe environments. Its excellent dielectric rigidity makes it a preferred choice in power electronics, industrial instrumentation or high voltage control systems.

In the laboratory, it is used to isolate sensors or probes exposed to corrosive media. In aircraft or rail, it secures critical connections subject to rapid temperature variations. In the chemical industry, it allows signals to be transmitted within treatment chambers without fear of degradation.

Its natural colour is translucent to white, allowing a partial visual inspection of the internal elements. It meets environmental standards and is flame resistant without self-ignition.
