Inside is completely covered with an adhesive thermoplastic resin which, melted hot, creates a film waterproof around the cable. This adhesive layer ensures a perfect seal between the tubing and insulation, effectively protecting against corrosion and moisture. The dielectric stiffness is high (>17 kV/mm), and the tubing retains its flexibility to match irregular contours even after tightened. It offers excellent mechanical resistance as well as UV rays, weather and solvents. From this source, the length is 1 metre, and its temperature range is short from -40°C to +110°C.

Compared to a simple tubing, this adhesive version behaves like a composite "double wall" (polyolefin + internal glue): by retracting, the internal adhesive melts and permeates the surface of the cable, creating a very tight bond. So we get a much more joint waterproof that with a standard tubing, with additional mechanical protection and superior corrosion insulation. The high tightness coefficient (type 4:1) drastically reduces the diameter, ensuring reliable coverage on cables of various sections. After tightening, the tubing is not flexible and the adhesive film does not flow under heat stress.

This sleeve is particularly suitable for outdoor and buried low voltage networks ( BT plugs, telecoms, photovoltaics, etc.), as well as for cabinets and industrial cases requiring increased sealing. For example, it allows the insulation and protection of buried or aerial BT cables while preventing water penetration into the junction. The presence of internal adhesive makes this tubing ideal for wet or salty environments (pipework, marine applications, rail wiring) where a stable hardening joint is required.
