Heat shrinkable tubing with a thin wall with a maximum temperature of continuous use limited to 135° C
Does this tubing accept temperature exceedances above 135°C ?
No, we advise against using this tubing above 135°C, even when temperature peaks. Up to 135°C, only heat-retractable polyolethin have the ability to withstand continuously in temperature up to 135°C.
Above 135°C, you should head towards high temperaure sheaths among :
- the tubing in elastomers with a temperature holding of 150°C. This tubing is available on request, contact us,
- the tubing KYNAR (vinylidene polyfluoride). This heat shrinkable tubing high temperature and flexible holds continuously up to 175°C.

Properties of the Tubing Fine wall ratio 2:1 up to 135°C in transparent black coils - PF2-135
The thin-wall heat shrink tubing PF2-135, offered in black or transparent coils, is designed for industrial environments seeking a controlled compromise between thermal performance and operating costs. Made of crosslinked polyolefin, it has a shrink ratio 2:1 allowing to effectively cover conductors and components of close diameters, with excellent wall regularity after retraction. Its operating range from -55 °C to +135 °C ensures lasting stability in electrical cabinets, bundles or equipment subjected to moderate to sustained thermal cycles.
The minimum restricted temperature above 90 °C facilitates fast hot air application, compatible with workshop speeds. Its 20 kV/mm dielectric strength ensures reliable insulation in low voltage, while its self-extinguishing and flame retarded formulation enhances the safety of installations. Compliant with RoHS and UL 224 125 °C certified, it meets the quality standards expected in industrial integration.
The black colour offers excellent fit for technical environments and visual discretion, while the transparent version allows visual control of markings or connections after retraction. Adapted to mass production thanks to its economic packaging in reelThis reference is also available in heat shrinkable tubing per metre for point requirements or maintenance operations.
