This heat-retractable tape consists of a layer of crosslinked polyolefin that contracts under the effect of heat. Its application is done by hot air gun, allowing the tape to tighten around the piece, even on irregular shapes (sews, splicing...). When heated, the layers of ribbon stick together.. This property quickly restores the protection of a damaged cable without leaving partitions, ensuring a compact and durable repair.

The heat-retractable tape offers high electrical insulation and good resistance to physical stresses. Designed for use from –55 °C to +110 °C, it is UV and abrasion resistant. Each layer provides superior dielectric rigidity (about 12 kV/mm), ensuring reliable insulation in low voltage (BT) and industrial environments. Its high mechanical tenacity protects the repaired section against shock and corrosion. This tape is used in particular to consolidate and consolidate cables, repair and isolate damaged conductors, and protect installations from mechanical failures.

Its placement is simple and fast: we wrap several cross layers around the area to be treated by ensuring a slight overlap, then we heat gradually. It can be applied without restraint ratio (no ratio limit), making it practical on elbows and complex elements.
