In a single piece, it replaces more complex assemblies to distribute a source cable to four directions. It is used in particular to organize star connections in an electric cabinet – a single multi-conductor cable that can supply up to four different devices or terminals. Similarly, in a lighting or telecommunications network, this 4-outlet sleeve allows the signal or power to be sent to four destinations from a single entry point, while maintaining a total sealing of the branch line.
