This component provides in one operation the bypass of one main cable to five separate conductors, each being isolated from the others. This five-fold output is used, in particular, for 5-screw cables (e.g. 3-phase + neutral + earth power cables, or certain five-strand control and signal beams). Instead of using multiple sleeves and ribbons, the installer can, with this unique tip, carry out a range of conductors in the main tubing output. Each derived wire is protected by its own heat-retractable section, while the common base keeps it firmly secured to the original cable. Whether to complete a multi-conductor cable in a cabinet (and move to five different terminals) or to connect a feeder to four or five star starts, this solution greatly simplifies the wiring configuration. In summary, the 1 input / 5 output part supports the connection function (connection of the main cable) and the multiple bypass to five outputs, avoiding tubing entanglements and ensuring clear organization of connections.
The installation of this quintuple sleeve is both fast and safe. After stripping the main cable and removing its five conductors, they are inserted into the corresponding exit arms of the end, while the extended entrance includes the cable tubing.
