A heat-retractable cable passage is a device that allows a cable to be safely passed through a wall (metal or plastic enclosure) or through a wall.Waterproofr the outlet of a cable from a ringed pipe, while protecting it from sharp edges and preventing the infiltration of liquids or gases along the cable. It ensures a passage waterproof and secure cable through the wall, preserving equipment integrity.

This heat-retractable double-wall sleeve is made of crosslinked polyolefin and incorporates a thermo-fusible internal adhesive coating. When tightened, the internal adhesive melts and seals the surfaces hermetically, preventing dust, moisture or other contaminants from infiltrating. After tightening, its thickened wall gives good mechanical strength, while the material supports operating temperatures from -55 °C to +110 °C. This cable passage is also resistant to UV and weather conditions, ensuring lasting sealing over time.

Restricted installation is simple, fast and does not require any additional accessories. Just heat the sleeve (e.g. hot air gun) to retract and seal hermetically around the cable and wall. No additional nut, collar or seal is required, internal adhesive ensuring bonding waterproof. Thanks to its high restraining rate, the same cable passage can adapt to a varied range of cable diameters and drillings, making it easier to choose the appropriate diameter and reducing the number of references to be stored.
